Luckily, we had the privilege of working with THREE great companies to help document the first annual Lucratif End Of The Year Party.  Who were they?  Live To Inspire, Missing In Action, and Tatsu from Bholanath Foto.  Live To Inspire was kind enough to provide us with a backdrop reppin’ the Lucratif Crown and their logo for the Lucratif Photo Booth.  Tatsu was generous with his time and handled the Lucratif Photo Booth pics and performance pics!  Missing In Action was definitely working, recording all the performances and also snappin’ random party pics!

J*Davey’s new video “Whatchulookin@” #SoLUCRATIF

Unless you sleep under a rock… You may have heard of indie LA music duo J*DAVEY.. (this is where you get 10 seconds to Google them if you happened to be the one sleeping)..   Their soon to be released album “New Designer Drug” has several fresh tracks on it.  Recently, the first two videos off of the new album were shot at Lucratif homebase, OPULEN STUDIOS!  Take a moment to watch the video… your ears and eyes will be thankful.  Shout out to The Ports for shooting at Opulen and directing/producing such wonderful stimuli for the senses.  J*DAVEY was also gifted with a couple LUCRATIF accessories (that they thought were “dope af”, win.)….. so this video is officially #LUCRATIF.

This month we are featuring “Lagerfeld Confidential” in honor of Los Angeles Fashion Week.  “Lagerfeld Confidential” is a fashion documentary by Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld (ahem, amazing!!).   Our neighbors, art supply store Frank’s Place, will be providing free giveaways to a couple lucky guests!  With art instillations by local LA artists, a couple fashion vendors, and $5 drinks – this will be an awesome (FREE) time… Hope to see you there

Last Movie Night was great… See you in October? It’s Fashion Time!

At the last Movie Night At Opulen, we showed the art documentary “Exit Through The Gift Shop” by street art legend Banksy – and taken over by street art newcomer Mr.Brainwash.  It’s an amazing film!  Along with the movie, snacks, and drinks.. We had instillations by local LA artists to put the icing on the cake.  Not to mention, last but certainly not least, Opulen Studios neighbor Frank’s Place LA (art supply store) donated several giveaways!!!!  (Yes, they’ll be doing it again in October) ….For now, take a look at some of the photos captured.
And we hope to see you on October 13th for the next Movie Night!  We will be showing “Lagerfeld Confidential” – the documentary about Coco Chanel’s prodigy and successor Karl Lagerfeld – in honor of LA Fashion Week!  We will also feature one local LA artist and clothing/jewlery vendors!  As always, Movie Night is FREE.. and drinks are only $5!
